Gypsum Valley Sporting Clays II is open to the public and welcomes all shooters. Beginners, experts, ladies, and juniors are all encouraged to visit. We host monthly NSCA sanctioned shoots and also hold occasional shooting clinics. Gypsum Valley is owned by shooters and is designed with the shooter in mind. We are a work in progress and the course is constantly being updated and improved. Currently we have 20 shooting stations over two courses, featuring all Pro-Matic traps and three towers for varieties of combination shots. The terrain is a mix of brush-covered land, rolling hills, and large trees following along a creek, and is maintained to keep the natural landscape while providing easy access.
Located about 5 minutes from Gypsum and 15 minutes from Salina, Gypsum Valley Sporting Clays II offers fun for the whole family. Come give us a try!

Sporting clays is a rapidly growing sport for shooting enthusiasts that offers the excitement of
hunting through the re-creation of real field situations. Shooting is done from stationary stands
while automated traps throw clays that simulate pheasants, quail, ducks, rabbits, and
more.
Shotgun ammunition can be purchased and carts are offered for anyone needing assistance.
Snacks and beverages are also available. We have certified NSCA shooting instructors and
instruction is available for individuals or small groups.
